School lunches ending for your kids? How will you cope?
With universal free breakfast and lunch no longer an option in some schools and ending soon in many others, The Day wants to know how the change affects your family.
Did the program help you get through the pandemic? Will you prepare lunches at home or pay for them at school? Will high food costs and inflation make it difficult? Do you feel the income levels to qualify for free and reduced breakfast and lunch prices are fair?
Free meals will continue in the New London school district, Norwich’s K-8 schools and several Groton schools through a separate program.
