Prom giveaway to be held in Groton

Groton ― St. John's Christian Church will hold its annual prom giveaway from noon- 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Groton Municipal Building, 295 Meridian St.

“Looking for a great outfit to wear to your special event this year?” the event description says. “Searching for a statement piece on a budget? Do you have a dress or a suit that has been collecting dust in your closet since you attended prom or a wedding years ago? We will be having our annual Prom Giveaway 2023. There will be MUSIC, VENDORS, RAFFLES, and MUCH MORE!”

Donations will be accepted up to the day of the event. This event is open to the public and all are welcome.
