Craig McCalister to be remembered Saturday

A celebration of the life of Craig McCalister takes place Saturday in New London from 5 to 8 p.m. at RD86 in New London, then continues afterward at 33 Golden Street. McCalister, the popular city resident who co-owned the 33 Golden Street bar and was executive director of the Veterans Equine Therapy Serv0ices (VETS) support organization, died March 25. Food, drink, live music and remembrances will be part of the event. Donations will benefit VETS. See vetsct.org for information.
