Waterford ― After finishing work at home, Carol Jones of New London decided it was a nice day and wanted to sit outside and enjoy the sun and fresh air.
She was on her way to Waterford Beach Park, but as she was driving along the entrance road to Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center and the park she decided the trees along the road was a nice spot. Temperatures across the region topped 80 degrees Thursday with the summer-like weather expected to continue through Friday.
