Ledyard -- The Democratic Town Committee will hold a “Pizza and Politics” fundraiser on Friday, June 9, featuring U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney, D-2nd District, as well as state Sen. Cathy Osten, D-19th District, and state Rep. Kevin Ryan, D-Montville.

It will begin at 6 p.m. at the Gales Ferry Fire Station, 1772 Route 12. Tickets are required by making a donation of $12 or more at ledyarddtc.com/events. Attendees will receive two slices of pizza and a drink, as well as hear an update on the outlook for Gales Ferry in the areas of education, environment, and economic development.
