Tribe’s Command Holdings hires former federal official

Mashantucket ― Command Holdings, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe’s nongaming investment arm, has hired a former senior U.S. Small Business Administration official as director of business integration and compliance.

The hiring of John Dicus comes as the company seeks to grow through acquisitions. In the past two years, Command Holdings has acquired WWC Global, a management consulting agency, as well as Quattro Consulting and Celeen LLC, both information technology firms.

Command Holdings comprises more than 500 employees and generates more than $100 million in annual revenue.

Dicus was the SBA’s Seattle District lead business opportunity specialist, a role in which he focused on increasing engagement between the contracting industry, native organizations and the government. Previously, he was a contract administrator for the Army.

Command Holdings was established in 2017.
