His mom, Denise Anderstrom, said the family planned a walk at Harkness for the holiday. She’s a teacher and school was not in session for her, Carter and his sister Norah, 12, and her husband Morgan had Juneteenth off from work.
“We were just planning on a nice walk but we couldn't keep him out of the water,” she joked about Carter. “I think his sister’s a little jealous she can’t join him without her bathing suit.”
