New London ― Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, ranked the top children’s hospital in Connecticut by U.S. News and World Report, will mark the opening of the children’s hospital’s eighth pediatric specialty center here next week.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 at the center’s location at 3 Shaw’s Cove, Suite 205.

The new center will offer a full range of specialties and programs, including allergy/immunology, endocrinology and gastroenterology. The center’s staff will include board-certified medical and surgical pediatric specialists from Yale Medicine, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, social work, psychology, nutrition services and child life specialists.
