Cool day for a swim

New London ― The chilly weather didn’t stop Petko Ivanov, of New London, from taking his daily swim Thursday at Ocean Beach Park in New London. Ivanov said the air is colder than the water and swims every day until mid-December.

The National Weather Service forecast for Friday is patchy frost before 9 a.m. otherwise, sunny with a high near 57 degrees.
