THEIR SITUATION: Rusty is a young man with intellectual and developmental disabilities who receives in-home supports. Both of Rusty’s parents have passed away. He lives with his two uncles on a fixed income in a trailer home.
WHAT TO GIVE: Gift cards to any large grocery store or Walmart, male personal care items, throw blankets, full-size bedding, and laundry detergent and baskets. Rusty, who likes cartoon characters and superheroes, needs winter clothing including fleece pants, sweatpants, sweaters, hoodies, long-sleeve shirts and undergarments in size 3X. Rusty loves Dunkin Donuts and likes tactile items/toys such as playdough, kinetic sand and slime. He could use an iPad, backpack and lunch box.
