Make A Difference: Safe Futures

Their Situation: Elyse endured years of physical and verbal abuse before fleeing with her son and daughter to the emergency shelter at Safe Futures after a brutal attack. Her son is severely autistic.

Agency: Safe Futures provides free and confidential services for those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and trafficking in southeastern Connecticut.

What to give: Funds toward bills, gift cards for groceries and clothing. Household necessities, including twin, full and queen bedding, pots and pans. For the children, dolls, arts and crafts, fidget toys, Star Wars Lego set, noise-canceling headphones.
