FAMILY SITUATION: The mother has been battling cancer, which recently required the amputation of her leg. Several of the windows in their home are broken and need replacement, because the house is losing heat.
WHAT TO GIVE: The family is requesting help replacing the windows, either by a company or contractor who could do the work or by donation of windows or gift cards to a hardware store. They would also accept cash assistance. Other items include Bluetooth earbuds, hoodies (men’s small, women’s small or girls 14), a basketball and a football, puzzles, and arts and crafts materials.
TO DONATE: Checks should be issued to the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center, with “Make a Difference” written in the memo. They should be mailed to PNC, PO Box 1697, Pawcatuck, CT, 06379.
