New London ― The Yale New Haven Health Pharmacy at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital opened Monday.

The pharmacy, the first hospital outpatient pharmacy in the region, will be open seven days a week for patients being discharged from the hospital as well as patients seeking to refill prescriptions, residents who live in the area and hospital employees.

In addition to retail pharmacy services, patients will have access to Yale New Haven Health’s network of specialty and home infusion pharmacies.

The 1,700-square-foot pharmacy is on the hospital’s first floor. Parking for patients picking up prescriptions has been designated outside the hospital’s main entrance. Curbside pickup for non-ambulatory patients and free local delivery services also are available.

Patients picking up prescriptions must check in at the visitor’s desk in the front lobby and wear a yellow visitor’s pass.

Pharmacy hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The pharmacy can be reached at (860) 444-3700.
