Weaver, LeClair win Sailfest Race titles

Gregory Weaver of West Hartford won the Kelley's Pace Sailfest 5K race on Sunday in New London.

Weaver finished with a time of 16:24 on the new course. Groton's Brandy LeClair, the former Fitch High School standout, was the top women's finisher. LeClair, who came in 10th, finished in 18:36.

Also finishing in the top 10 were Joe Shaw of Belmont, Mass. (16:55), Frank Sternberg of Stonington (17:06), Aidan Pepin of Quaker Hill (17:40), Ryan Cleaves of Canton (18:11), Sean Corman of Quaker Hill (18:15), Nicholas Migani of Southington (18:19), Samuel Lenes of Waterford (18:31) and John Mates of Groton (18:37).
