Five IRS offices will open their doors Saturday to provide assistance for taxpayers dealing with difficult economic times. The Taxpayer Assistance Centers are open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the following Connecticut locations: Bridgeport, 915 Lafayette Blvd.; Danbury, 131 West St.; Hartford, 135 High St.; New Haven, 150 Court St., and Waterbury, 14 Cottage Place.
