    Maul named executive chef

    Terrence Maul is the new executive chef at Latitude 41° in Mystic.

    He is a 1994 Culinary Institute of America graduate and began his career at the James Beard Award-nominated Geronimo's in Santa Fe, N.M. Most recently, he was the executive chef at The Up River Café in Westerly.

    He will oversee food operations including banquets, off-site catering, special events and weekly promotions.

    The Coastal Gourmet Group, owned by Charles Spathakis, is the parent of Mystic Markets East and West, Coastal Gourmet Catering, Stonington Meadows, Aspen Restaurant and Bar, and Latitude 41° and is the exclusive caterer at Stonington Vineyards.
