Dime Bank names new corporators

A retired banker, Norwich-based physician and New London attorney have been named to Dime Bank’s board of corporators.
The Norwich-based bank announced today that attorney Karl-Erik Sternlof of New London, Dr. Tarik Kardestuncer of Lyme and Robert C. Giffen of Oakdale will start their terms immediately.
Sternlof is a partner at the law firm of Waller, Smith and Palmer; Kardestuncer is a physician and partner of Norwich Orthopedic Group, and Giffen is a retired executive of Dime Bank.
Dime Bank is a mutual bank with more than $736 million in assets and 11 branches in southeastern Connecticut and Rhode Island.
