WHO: Catherine is a grandmother in her 60s raising five grandchildren.

HER SITUATION: Catherine had a challenging year. Her son died suddenly of a heart attack this summer, and she took on raising five grandchildren by herself, with her only income being Social Security Disability.
WHAT TO GIVE: The children are a 17-year-old girl who wears medium sized clothing and 6½ shoes/boots); a 16-year-old boy who wears a men’s large and size 12 shoes/boots; a 14-year-old granddaughter who wears an XL in juniors and 7½ shoes/boots; a 12-year-old boy who wears a boy’s size 12-14 clothes and 6½ shoes/boots and a 8-year-old grandson who wears 10-12 in boys clothing and 4 in shoes.
Catherine would be grateful for gift cards to Wal-Mart or Stop & Shop to purchase essentials. Gift certificates to Regal Theater would be a special treat for the children.
