'Shark Tank' theme of Mystic lunch

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly Learning Lunch at noon Wednesday at Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, 4 Hendel Drive in Mystic.

In conjunction with the Small Business Association, the lunch’s theme is “Local Shark Tank” after the popular television show in which entrepreneurs compete for investment dollars.

SBA’s guaranteed loan program and micro-loan program will be among the topics moderated by Jessica Rivera of the SBA. Panelists are Jim Bates of Edward Jones Mystic and Anne Chambers of Southeastern CT Enterprise Region.

Cost for the event is $5 for members and $10 for the public. Register online or by calling (860) 572-9578.
