Casinos report May slots revenue

Mohegan Sun has reported that it “won,” or kept, $51.7 million in slot-machine wagers after paying out prizes last month, a 2.3 percent increase over the amount it kept in May 2017.
Foxwoods Resort Casino’s May slots revenue was down 2.6 percent on a year-over-year basis, falling to $38.5 million.
The casinos, which contribute 25 percent of their monthly slots revenues to the state, forwarded $22.8 million in May. Mohegan Sun’s share was $12.9 million, Foxwoods’ $9.9 million.
