Nature’s Art Village, home of The Dinosaur Place, reopens

Montville — Nature’s Art Village announced this week it has reopened many of its attractions, including The Dinosaur Place, The Shops at Nature’s Art Village, The PAST Antiques Marketplace and Copper Creek Mini Golf, with social distancing practices in place for the safety of guests and staff.

The Genius Museum, Discovery Depot and The Cobalt Café will remain closed, however, during the state’s first phase of reopening.

The Dinosaur Place, The Shops and The PAST will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., while Copper Creek’s hours will vary between weekdays and weekends. Please visit bit.ly/navminigolf for more information.

“In preparation for our reopening, we have been working diligently to make modifications throughout the park to ensure that our guests will have a fun and enjoyable experience, while also ensuring safety and peace of mind,” said Colin Walsh, general manager of Nature’s Art Village.

The site, on Route 85 in Montville, will limit capacity at 50% as well as the age and number of guests using outdoor equipment.

“Guests should plan to bring their own personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves, and honor the traffic patterns or social distancing space required,” owner Roger Phillips wrote in the news release. “We have over 60 acres of park; if it’s big enough for our dinosaurs, it’s big enough to provide plenty of room for everyone’s health and well-being. It’s official — fun has not been canceled. We look forward to seeing you soon.”
