    The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Westerly/Pawcatuck Downtown Business Association will present Mystic Restaurant Week with Dine-Out in Downtown 2021 Nov. 1-7. Each participant will feature a burger. More than 25 restaurants have signed up. Patrons can enter to win prizes donated by GMCC members and Westerly/Pawcatuck DBA members.

    The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT Foundation will be hosting its signature Holiday Gala, a festive evening at Mohegan Sun in support of local children's charities.     Westerly Education Center is holding a job fair on Tuesday, Nov. 2 from 3-5 p.m. at 23 Friendship St., Westerly. The event is freel. Several dozen businesses in Rhode Island and Connecticut have signed up to recruit and there are additional spaces still available on a first-come, first-served basis.     HONORS

    Stephen Coan, CEO and President of Mystic Aquarium, and Stephan Ambrosch, owner of Deviant Donuts and Mangos Wood Fired Pizza, will be honored by Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce with the 2020 Joyce Resnikoff Tourism Award. The event will be Dec. 2, 5-8:30 p.m. at the Velvet Mill in Stonington Borough.

    This year's GMCC's Annual Party of 12 event will also feature the first ever 15 Over 50 Ballast Awards, acknowledging those business icons over 50 years of age.
