Charles and Jeannette (Scacciaferro) Pinch of Waterford, were honored at a luncheon on their Golden Wedding Anniversary, July 7, 2012, at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Sam Turello.

The couple was joined by their children and spouses, Andrea and Rick Gaines, Cynthia and Sam Turello, and Matthew Pinch and Stacy Mitton; grandchildren, Ashlee Hollis, Arianna Turello, and Peter Turello III; along with Charles' mother, Alice Pinch, who also shared in the celebration.

Charles and Jeanette were married at St. Mary Star of The Sea Church and the reception followed at the Mohican Hotel roof garden in New London.

Charles is retired from the Southern New England Telephone Co., and Jeanette is retired from Waterford Public Schools Special Services.
