Ashley Elizabeth Russell wed Paul Ralph Andrew Coppola w on Aug. 25 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Branford. The bride is the daughter of Joyce and William Russell of Clinton. The groom is the son of Dr. Paul and Eileen Coppola of Madison.

The Rev. Sharon Gracen officiated the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club in Branford.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. She was attended by longtime friends Shauna Eadie and Kathleen Hanafin as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Dr. Molly Brady Russell, sister-in-law of the bride; Amanda Coppola, sister of the groom; Christina Coppola, sister-in-law of the groom; Kathryn Healey, friend of the bride; and Derek Torre, friend of the bride.

The groom was accompanied by his brother, Adam Coppola, as best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Christopher Coppola, brother of the groom; Damon Coppola, brother of the groom; Thomas Rispoli, friend of the groom; Jeffrey Russell, brother of the bride; Michael Russell, brother of the bride; and Timothy Russell, brother of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University, from which she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is currently attending the University of New Haven as a candidate for a master of business administration degree. She is currently employed by Becton Dickinson as a medical sales professional.

The groom is a graduate of Boston College, from which he received his bachelor’s degree in history. He received a master of education degree from Fairfield University in 2004, and more recently received a sixth-year degree in educational leadership from Quinnipiac University. He is currently employed by the Madison Public Schools as a social studies teacher at Daniel Hand High School.

The couple resides in East Haven.
