    Moon—Eichelberg Wedding Announcement

    Nicole and Kyle Eichelberg

    Gales Ferry — Nicole K. Moon and Kyle B. Eichelberg were married April 27, 2019, at The Meadows in Stonington.

    The bride is the daughter of Chris and Christine Moon of Groton. The groom is the son of Kurt and Ruth Ann Eichelberg of Gales Ferry.

    The double-ring ceremony was performed by Justice of the Peace April Smith. The ceremony included a Native American blessing given by Chief “Many Hearts”, Dr. Lynn Malerba, and a blanket ceremony given by Tribal Elder Council member Marie Pineault.

    Maid of honor was Haley Moon, sister of the bride of Groton. Bridesmaids included Jessica Palmer of Norwalk, Nicole Preston of Ledyard, Sarah Iliff of Chicago, Kristen Kohlhepp of East Lyme and Kirsten Eichelberg, sister of the groom of Westerly. The bride’s cousins, Kensie and Brooklyn Field were the flower girls.

    David Eichelberg, brother of the groom from Gales Ferry, served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Frye of Ledyard, Kyle Smith of Pawcatuck, Luke Delgrosso of Gales Ferry, Ed Munch of Gales Ferry and Kyle Perry of Groton.

    Kyle and Nicole both graduated from Ledyard High School. Nicole is pursuing a degree in student counseling through Southern New Hampshire University. She also works with pre-school children in Norwich. Kyle graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2014, with a bachelor’s degree in sports and leisure management. He currently works in recruitment advertising.

    The couple resides in Gales Ferry and are planning a future honeymoon.
