Gerry and RoseAnn Knotts 1955

Mystic — Gerry Knotts and RoseAnn (Piezzo) Knotts met while roller skating in Westerly, R.I. and got married Aug. 20, 1955, at St. Clare Church in Westerly.

Gerry was from Akron, Ohio and was stationed in Connecticut while in the Navy. RoseAnn was originally from Westerly and worked at Chickadees, IGA, Pizza Palace and currently works at Christo’s Pizza & More. Gerry is retired from Electric Boat, after working there 39 years.

They are blessed with five children: Gerry, Pam, Barbara, Linda and Bill; plus fourteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

They celebrated their 65th Anniversary with a small family gathering at their home.
