Bill and Jane Martley

Bill and Jane (Burdick) Martley renewed their wedding vows Saturday, Sept. 12, at St. Mary Church in Stonington, where they were wed 60 years ago Sept. 10, 1960.

They are the parents of William D. Martley Jr. and Jennifer L. Martley of Mystic, and Marie A. Patterson of Tucson, Ariz. They have six grandchildren.

Bill retired from Connecticut Light & Power after 42 years of service. Jane is an accomplished quilter, who enjoys teaching others to quilt. She last worked in data entry at Groton Town Police before her retirement. They are enjoying their retirement in Stonington on Quiambaug Cove in the family homestead.
