Bozrah — The Guardians of the Purple Heart will be holding its annual Purple Heart Poker Run starting and ending at the Bozrah Moose Lodge, 115 Fitchville Road, on May 19.

Registration is from 9 to 11 a.m., and there will be an after party starting around 3. The event will feature multiple vendors, prizes and a pig roast. You don't need a motorcycle to participate. Bring a classic car or anything street legal. If you can't make it for the run, come for the after party.

Money raised each years goes toward assisting a Connecticut combat wounded veteran. This year's honoree is a Purple Heart recipient and Vietnam vet from Milford.
