Thames River Detachment elects new officers

The Thames River Detachment No. 1334 of the Marine Corps League recently elected the following officers: Commandant Joe Balint, Senior Vice Commandant Rob Montminy Jr., Vice Commandant Thomas Taylor, and Judge Advocate Frank Poitras.

Balint then appointed the following: Adjutant Veronica Hoard, Chaplain Dave Kargull, Paymaster Pat McMahon, and Sergeant at Arms Tom Callinan.

The detachment meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Montville Veterans of Foreign Wars post on Raymond Hill Road at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in joining should contact Taylor at (860) 334-1199 or usmcddog331@gmail.com.
