Groton — The Virginia-class attack submarine Hyman G. Rickover (SSN 795) was rolled out to the graving dock Friday on the waterfront at General Dynamics Electric Boat.
The second submarine to be named for the "father of the nuclear Navy," it will be launched in a ceremony July 31. It's the fourth boat in the Block IV construction set of the class.
