    ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ dominates box office with second-largest opening — ever

    “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” dominated the weekend’s box office, debuting with $220 million domestically. That makes the film the No. 1 debut of 2017 and the second-best opening of all time, behind "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
