    Son of 'Green Book's' Tony 'Lip' to do Q&A at Madison Art Cinemas

    Frank Vallelonga — son of Tony "Lip" Vallelonga, whose real friendship with pianist Don Shirley forms the basis of the Oscar-nominated film "Green Book" — will give a talk Jan. 28 at Madison Art Cinemas in Madison. 

    Frank Vallelonga plays Tony Lip's brother in the movie. 

    He will appear after the 7:30 p.m. screening for a Q&A.

    "Green Book" was just nominated for a best picture Oscar. Stars Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali were also nominated for their performances, and Nick Vallelonga, Brian Currie and Peter Farrelly were nominated for best original screenplay.
