“Holiday for Heroes”

When I tell people I’ve seen this Hallmark holiday movie that was shot in southeastern Connecticut, the question I get isn’t how the drama is but rather how the region looks. The answer: It looks like a quaint, adorable Christmas-happy area. It’s a fun where’s-Waldo-esque exercise to determine what locales you can spot: There’s Norwich City Hall and the Norwich ice rink! Stonington Borough looks like a winter wonderland! Wait, is that Camp Nett in Niantic? If you haven’t watched “Holiday for Heroes” yet, you’ll get plenty of chances between now and Christmas. Coming up in the immediate future, it airs on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel at 7 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. Sunday and 11:03 p.m. (yes, the website says 11:03) Tuesday.
