Essex Winter Series brings together musical talent
The 34th season of the Essex Winter Series ends Sunday with a special event called "Windfest." It's the second annual Fenton Brown Emerging Artists Concert where talented young musicians perform onstage with world renowned players.
This year, emerging talents Kelli Kathman (flute), Carl Oswald (oboe) and Adrian Morejon (bassoon) will join celebrated clarinetist David Shifrin and French horn soloist William Purvis.
The program includes works by Vivaldi, Mozart, Françaix, Schifrin, and Nielsen.
