Broadway star Stephanie J. Block sings at Conn College
Singer/actress Stephanie J. Block has a VOICE.
Who else but someone with major pipes could portray Cher in Broadway’s “The Cher Show”? And Block won a 2019 Tony Award for best actress in a musical for her work as the diva.
Oh, and Block also played Liza Minnelli in “Boy from Oz” opposite Hugh Jackman.
Block will perform a night of Broadway standards Saturday at Connecticut College, as part of its onstage series. The setlist promises numbers from “Don’t Rain On My Parade” to “Over the Rainbow.”
