NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — The University of Oklahoma says authorities have found no evidence of shots being fired on campus and no injuries have been reported.
University spokeswoman Catherine Bishop says in a statement that normal campus operations have resumed except for Gould Hall, where additional checking is continuing Wednesday.
The school posted a notice on its website Wednesday that people should avoid Gould Hall. A notice sent by its Twitter account said: "Seek immediate shelter in place."
The university is located in Norman, about 20 miles south of Oklahoma City.
