West Nile mosquitoes found in Waterford

Waterford ― Ledge Light Health District announced Friday that mosquitoes collected here have tested positive for West Nile Virus.
The health district recommended residents take precautions to to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes. These include minimizing time outdoors at dusk and dawn; making sure door and window screens are tight fitting and in good repair; wearing shoes, socks, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts while outdoors and using mosquito repellent when it is necessary to be outdoors.
