    Ann Parisi, 65 Branford

    Ann Parisi, 65, of Island View Terrace, Branford, died on June 1. The daughter of Alfred Brigante and the late Mary Brigante, she was a graduate of East Haven High School and had worked for 31 years as an administrative assistant at Yale University until her retirement in 2005. At Yale, she had worked in the undergraduate admissions office for quite some time, where she received many accolades and letters of recognition and appreciation for her outstanding work. She always went above and beyond the call of duty in everything she set out to accomplish. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Church in Branford and was a former member of the Ladies Guild. She also served on the board of the Island View Condominium Association. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

    Besides her father and his companion Pat Ballaro, she is survived by two daughters, Gina Parisi of Branford and Tammy Chicarilli and her husband Damien of Norwalk; her beloved grandchildren Sophia and Tyler Chicarilli; four sisters, Marcella Coart and her husband Peter, Mary Mathis and her husband Chris-Philip, Ali Marottoli and her husband Salvatore, and JoAnn Viscuso; and a brother, Alfred Brigante, Jr., and his wife Lorraine. She is also survived by her former husband Thomas Parisi of East Haven.

    A funeral procession was held from the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, Branford, on June 5, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Mary Church. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. Memorial donations may be made to the Lung Cancer Alliance, P.O. Box 630972, Baltimore, MD 21263.
