    Katherine K. Hart, 92, Madison, formerly of North Branford

    Katherine Kobak Hart, 92, of Madison, formerly of North Branford for most of her life, died April 21 at the Watrous Nursing Center in Madison.  She was the loving wife of the late Leslie A. Hart. Katherine was born in New Haven on July 17, 1920, daughter of the late Stephen and Catherine Banko Kobak.  She was an active communicant of St. Augustine Church, enjoyed Bingo, was an avid reader, and truly loved the time she spent with her loving family.

    Her family extends special thanks to the Watrous Nursing Center nurses, recreational staff, and all those who cared for her, as well as the wonderful, supporting staff from the Connecticut Hospice.

    Katherine is survived by her loving children, Philip Hart and his wife Sharon of North Branford, Lawrence Hart and his wife Nancy of East Haven, Bobby Hart and his wife Joanne of Tallahassee, Florida, Leslie Hart and his wife Bobbi of Salem, South Carolina, Patricia Cannata and her husband Richard of Indian Harbor Beach, Florida, and Kathleen Oltman and her husband Art of Ormond Beach, Florida. She is also survived by 13 beloved grandchildren; 11 cherished great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Rogers and her husband Del of Guilford; a brother, Edward Kobak and his wife Heather of Rutland, Vermont; and her sister-in-law, Barbara Kobak of Ludlow, Vermont.  She was predeceased by two brothers, John “Pete” Kobak and Stephen R. Kobak, Sr.

    Her funeral procession will leave the Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Rd., North Branford, on April 25, at 9:30 a.m.   A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine Church at 10 a.m., followed by burial in All Saints Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.  Contributions in her memory may be made to the Watrous Nursing Center, 9 Neck Rd., Madison, CT 06443, or to the Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405, or to the Atwater Memorial Library, c/o Bob Hill, Library Director, 1720 Foxon Rd., P.O.
