Brian J. Meade, 70, of Madison, died on Nov. 11 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.  He was the beloved husband and companion of 45 years to Judy Meade.  Mr. Meade was born in Albany, New York, son of the late Marty and Marguerite Meade.  His greatest enjoyment came from being with his family and close friends.  

Mr. Meade took pride in his med/surg business, which he started over 30 years ago.  He was respected and loved by his colleagues and circle of friends.  He is best remembered for his charisma, humor, leadership and generosity.  He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

The good times were always the greatest and those memories will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Jen, Michael, and Tony, and his soon-to-be five granddaughters. 

Family and friends may visit the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison, on Friday, Nov. 16, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.  Mass will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m., at St. Margaret’s Church, 24 Academy St., Madison.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, CT Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Hwy, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
