Craig Alan Nelson, 40, of Branford, died suddenly on Jan. 6 at his home.  Craig was born on Feb. 29, 1972 in Houlton, Maine, son of Peggy Mills Keck of Branford and Gary E. Nelson of Houlton. Craig graduated from Branford High School and had formerly worked for Zane’s Cycles.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his three brothers, Zachary and Jared Keck of Branford, and Ben Nelson of Maine; his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Janette Nelson of Houlton; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his loyal friend and companion, Roxie. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Gregory and Emogene Mills.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Thursday, Jan. 10, at 6 p.m., at the First Congregational Church of Branford.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the YNHH Office of Development, Heart & Vascular Center, Heart Transplant Fund, P.
