Joseph A. DeFilippo, 57, Branford

Joseph A. DeFilippo, 57, of Branford, died Saturday, Feb. 16, in Yale-New Haven Hospital. Mr. DeFilippo was born in New Haven June 6, 1955, son of the late John W. and Eleanor Patience DeFilippo. He was the technical manager at Olympic Manufacturing Group for more than 10 years, and was a highly regarded member of the national roofing community.

He was a wonderful and beloved husband to Cathy and father to his children, Jaclyn (Adam) Ham of Vernon and Joseph J. DeFilippo of Warrenton, VA. He is also survived by his brother John (Kristen) DeFilippo and nieces, Norma and Olivia.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. Funeral and burial will be private.
