    Frances M. Prishwalko, 94, Branford

    Frances M. Rollis Prishwalko, 94, of Branford, died at her Branford home on March 2.  She was the wife of the late John Prishwalko.  Frances was born in Branford on Oct. 4, 1918, daughter of the late John and Anna Rollis.  She was a lifelong resident of Branford and a communicant of St. Mary Church. 

    Frances had worked as a caterer for many years. She had also worked for Stanley Products, Avon, and Tupperware. In addition, she was a former driver for the Red Cross and a past member of St. Mary Ladies Guild. 

    She is survived by her daughters, Frances Carsten of Glover, Vermont, Catherine Prishwalko of Branford, Roberta Lysiak of Cheshire, and Jocelyn Prishwalko of East Haddam. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by two sons, John and Gregory Prishwalko; three sisters, Stasia Raiola, Anna Shiner, and Victoria Knight; and three brothers, Joseph, Anthony, and Dominic Rollis.

    Her funeral procession left the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, Branford, on Wednesday, March 6, at 10: a.m., for a mass of Christian burial at St. Mary Church at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.  Friends may call prior to the funeral from 9 to 10 a.m. AM.  For directions and online memorial see www.wsclancy.com.
