Robert F. Barnes, 58, of Flemington, New Jersey, formerly of Branford, died on Feb. 24.  Bob was born in New Haven on Feb. 23, 1955, son of the late Charles Barnes and Jacquelyn Perry Henninger. He was also the stepson of the late George "Hawk" Henninger. Bob was a 1976 graduate of Branford High School, where he was a member of the football team.  He graduated from Dean College in Massachusetts in 1980 and had worked in the telecommunications field. 

Bob had worked at AT&T for over 15 years before becoming vice-president of Telesource Networking.  He was also the owner and CEO of the Stanton Group consulting company in Flemington, New Jersey. 

He is survived by his sisters, Karen Paradis of East Haven and Gretchen Henninger-Spear of Wintersville, Ohio.  In addition, he is survived by his nephews, Kyle and Ricky Spear of Wintersville, Ohio, and Jason Paradis of Miami Beach, Florida.
