Albert DeMattie III, 30, of North Branford, beloved son of Kathleen DeMattie Lesco of North Branford and Albert DeMattie Jr. of West Haven, died July 11 in Yale New Haven Hospital.

Albert attended Chester College of New England and Boston College of Art. He was a salesman for Tri-State Home Improvements at the time of his death.

He is survived by his siblings, Lesley DeMattie of North Branford and Kristina Esposito and her husband Rick of East Haven. He was the uncle of Devin Palmer and Adriana and Alexander Esposito.

Albert is predeceased by his grandparents, the late Rudolph and Mabel (Taddeo) Lesco and Albert and Elizabeth (Vitale) DeMattie Sr.

Albert was an organ donor who saved four lives on July 11 and leaves his cat, Rusty.

His funeral procession will leave the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven, Monday, July 15 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
