Rose (Gallo) Marcarelli, formerly of Northford, wife of 47 years to the late Joseph Marcarelli, died peacefully July 23 at home surrounded by her family.

Rose lived in Connecticut for most of her life, and in 2010 moved with her family to Plymouth, Michigan. Rose was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary Vigilone and Rae Zuppardi of West Haven; her daughter Deborah; and son Robert and daughter-in-law Linda. Rose is also survived by all of her beloved grandchildren; Wesley, Julianna, Marriana, Ava, Rose, Olivia, Aria and Angelo; her nephews, Glenn Mineo, James Viglione, and Louis Gallo; a niece, Jamie Whitaker, and several grand-nieces. In addition to her husband, Rose was predeceased by her mother Julia Di Verniero Gallo; her father, Louis Gallo; and her brothers Raffaello, Ricky and Louis.  

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday, July 27 at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends may call from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Augustine Church, North Branford at 10 a.m with interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery.
