Francis P. Carfora, 74, of Estero, Florida, formerly of Madison, died July 26. He was born April 1, 1939 in New Haven to Salvatore and Mary Eva(Gustinello) Carfora.

Frank was a graduate of Fairfield University, and the owner of Kensington Glass Co Inc. He was a past Grand Knight of the East Haven Council Knights of Columbus and a long time member of the Madison Country Club.

Mr. Carfora is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Henrietta (Bellus); his loving children Mary Sue and her husband Matthew Hermann of Southington, Francis X. and his wife Rachel Carfora of Madison and Jennifer Lynn and her husband Edward Reyes of Madison. He is also survived by his sister MaryAnn Massaro of Guilford; his brothers Lawrence Carfora and his wife Marie of New Haven and Salvatore Carfora and his wife Michelle of East Haven; six cherished grandchildren Marc, Emma, Tristan, Luke, Ethan and Julian; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Angelo Massaro of Guilford.

A memorial service will be arranged at the convenience of the family. Charitable contributions can be made in his honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home, Bonita Springs, Florida, is in charge of arrangements.
