Cynthia Eileen Losche, 83, of Guilford, died Aug. 1 at her home. She was surrounded by family and friends.

She was born in London, England and moved to the United States after World War II. Cynthia spent most of her adult life raising her family and working in New Jersey. She was an avid New York Mets fan, Scrabble and card player, and enjoyed family vacations to Cape Cod, the Jersey Shore and England.  Nothing pleased her more than having the whole family sit down to a roast beef and Yorkshire pudding meal.

She is survived by her husband Kent; three well-loved children Jonathan Losche and his wife Emily, Koryn Agnello, and Martha Losche and her husband Bob Burger; an almost-son James Finch; and five grandchildren Kent, Christopher, Angela, George and Alex.

A memorial service will be held in September 2013 at the Second Reformed Church, Hackensack, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor can be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT. 06405.
