Gennaro A. Aurioso, 63, of North Haven, beloved husband of Christine Marottoli Aurioso, died Sept. 19 at his home. Gennaro was born June 12, 1950 in Amalfi, Italy to the late Raimondo and Enrichetta Muoio Aurioso. He served in the Italian Air Force and was a talented chef at the former Casa Marra Restaurant. He also owned and operated the former Ristorante Amalfi, Gennaro di Amalfi, Christina Café and Amalfi Grill.

He was a member of the Napoli Club of Northford.

He is survived by his children Jessica Aurioso, Raymond Aurioso and his wife Jill, and Erica Aurioso; his grandchildren Jesse Johnson, Austin Aurioso, and Kirsten and Emily Wilson; his siblings Franco, Domenic and Enrico Aurioso, Geralda Santone, Bellina Muoio and many other brothers and sisters in Amalfi and England.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Sept. 23 in St. Michael Church, New Haven, followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery.
