    Marilyn Carrington Esposito, 79, Northford

    Marilyn Carrington Esposito, 79, of Northford and Woodstock Valley, wife of Charles R. Esposito, died Sept. 28 at Windham Hospital, Willimantic. She was born March 11, 1934 to the late Alfred and Margaret Frey Carrington.

    She worked as a kindergarten teacher in the North Haven and North Branford school systems, and was also head teacher at the Play School in North Haven for 25 years. She taught pre-school religion classes at St. John’s Episcopal Church in North Haven for 45 years.

    Marilyn is survived by three children, Laurie and her husband Brian Coane of Northford, Robin Misbach of Northford, and Charles Randall Esposito and his wife Jennifer of Woodstock Valley; five beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Sylvia and her husband Robert of Guilford, Alicia, T.J. and Matthew Coane of Northford and Penelope Rose Esposito of Woodstock Valley; and a brother, Grant Carrington of North Hampton, Massachusetts. She was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Carrington.

    Family and friends may call Wednesday, Oct. 2 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Interment will be in Barlow Cemetery, Woodstock. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1463 Highland Avenue, Cheshire CT 06410 or the American Diabetes Foundation, 2080 Silas Deane Hwy, 2nd Floor, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
